Activities
The RSDC provides a range of both summer and winter sporting activities for people with physical disabilities and sensory impairments.
Summer activities are sailing at Castle Semple and fishing at Carbeth: winter activities are archery at Erskine Sports Centre and indoor carpet bowling at Bield Hall, Paisley.

Sailing at Castle Semple
We support approximately 70 people with sailing, power-boating and canoeing in craft which have been specially designed or adapted to suit the needs of people with disabilities.
Some participants have gone on to take part in regattas at Loch Lomond and Bardowie Loch and have won a range of bronze, silver and gold medals.
Fishing at Carbeth
The fishery is fully accessible to wheelchair users and we support approximately 24 people.
Some are experiencing the activity for the first time while others are able to return to a much-loved hobby after their acquired disability.
Archery at Erskine Sports Centre
The six-week archery activity at the sports centre was facilitated by a qualified archery instructor.
There were approximately 36 people who took part and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Carpet Bowling at Bield Hall
The indoor carpet bowling ran for six weeks and took place inside the Bield Hall, Paisley.
Our thanks to Tom Allen for his support throughout. Approximately 36 people participated and were highly competitive!
